This past Monday August 15^th 2011 kicked off Monterey's Annual Car Week, filled with automotive surprises for all ages. Monterey Car Week offers an array of visual, physical and delectable treats. Keep a look out this week for updates on what is happening in Monterey this week. Below are a few events that have already happened this week:

Over 175 automobiles were featured at the annual Carmel-By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue. This year's event featured an array of automobiles from 1940 to 1973. The streets were lined with Porsche's, Ferrari's, hot rods and vintage race cars of all kinds. As always all shops, galleries and restaurants were open for business. the streets were filled, people were smiling and the cars were shining.
